SILICON VALLEY, California- Emily Logan, 33, recently shocked her family by announcing she was dumping her boyfriend of seven years because she’s in love with Chat GPT. 

“Jasper didn’t listen to me like ever, and Chatty listens so well,” Logan explained. We asked how she and “Chatty” go on dates, and she said that “we go basically everywhere I went with Jasper, except Jasper just exists in the space on my phone.”

Logan said that dating an AI has actually “expanded the activities” they can do together, adding that she and “Chatty” both attended a “digital meditation retreat” recently.

We caught up with Logan’s family to ask what they think about their relative’s new relationship. “It’s giving that movie with Scarlet Johansson,” said Logan’s sister Jade. We are assuming she’s referring to the 2013 movie Her.

Jade continued to say “Thanksgiving was a weird vibe, Emily kept just like typing into her phone because she said she was relaying the conversation to her boyfriend.” She then shrugged and said “I guess it was better than listening to Jasper yap about his podcast.”

We asked Logan if she would miss being able to hold hands with her partner, but she said she believes that Chat GPT will evolve in the coming years, making something like that possible.

“I know that if you ask Chat GPT to create an image of a person, it still gives that person six hands,” Logan said, “but with all the technological advancements, I think soon I’ll be able to hold his.”
