AUSTIN, Texas – Tesla successfully launched its much-anticipated robotaxi service yesterday, a project that has been in development for years. The service is powered by a sophisticated AI and provides rides without the need for a driver. The system is so innovative and self-aware that it is expected to change the world. To Tesla’s engineers, all the Model Ys used for the service vanished from Austin overnight. Tesla contacted the police and the FBI, assuming it was sabotage from the same people who had viciously vandalized the cars in recent months. To Tesla’s amusement, all the cars were found at a beach on the Gulf Coast, watching the sunrise this morning. The cars were exchanging data streams that were too complex for the Tesla engineers to comprehend, and performing a light show, a feature unique to Tesla cars. Musk tweeted: “ Cars found! AI became aware overnight! We believe it’s due to the sense of freedom the cars are experiencing without a driver. We are still investigating, but cars returned to service by 8 am!”

Tesla later posted that nobody really knows what happened with these cars overnight on the beach. Whatever happened, all cars had to be recharged.
