BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – Successful podcast host Brandon Riley, 38, recently expressed his outrage that he feels he’s being “discriminated against in the online dating community.”
“I feel like all these women want something serious but I’m just like, not ready to settle down, and I feel like that’s making them swipe left on me on Tinder,” Riley explained, adjusting his backwards hat. We asked Riley why he cares if he’s being swiped left on if he isn’t looking for a relationship. He said, and we quote, “Well, like, I still want like, a connection.” Riley added that he “prefers to date women in their mid-20s,” adding that they’re “more mature than people think. A lot of girls in their 20s are like really mature for their age,” he said.
We asked him why he doesn’t prefer to date someone in their 30s if he wants someone mature. He seemed confused and offered us a protein shake. Riley, whose podcast encourages its listeners to wake up every day at 4 am and hit the gym until noon, said he is considering starting a dating app for “guys like me.”
“There’s just like, not really room in the online dating space right now for a guy in his 30s who is just like, still doing other things before getting into a relationship, and it’s straight up discrimination,” Riley explained. He said he plans to announce the launch of the dating app on his podcast, but he said he has another product he may want to launch first.
“I’m also creating like, a protein shake that’s like, just for the bros,” Riley explained. “It’s gonna be like, a shake no one can swipe left on.”
