CHAPPAQUA, New York – Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton have gone into business together, launching a partnership in the form of a holistic retreat in the Vermont countryside. The as yet unnamed retreat will feature all of the usual trappings, including a spa, swimming pool, pilates classes, cooking instruction, and group bonding activities.

The two former presidential candidates met up for a walk in the woods outside Chappaqua, N.Y., and discussed ways to share their common experience, losing to Donald Trump in the presidential election. Out of that discussion came the idea for the holistic retreat.

“It will be a back-to-nature experience, mostly,” Clinton said. “I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while, but I needed a willing partner. Bill just wasn’t interested, but Kamala is totally into it.”

For her part, Harris was looking forward to leading one of the cooking classes. “I make a mean gumbo,” she said. “I won’t be sharing my recipe, but I’ll be happy to help others improve theirs.” Clinton also said that her good friend John Podesta would be on hand to share his old family strategy for making a great pizza dough.

Among the group bonding activities that Clinton is especially looking forward to is the hatchet throwing contest, in which participants compete to see how close they can get a hurled hatchet to a target in the shape of Trump’s face. “I’ll never bury that hatchet,” Clinton said.
