ORLANDO, Florida – Disney World has released a new ad in which iconic rodent Mickey Mouse pleads with the public to stop calling him a plague rat. This follows the state of Florida’s announcement that it plans to repeal vaccine requirements in the state’s schools. “First, I’d like to point out that I’m a mouse, not a rat,” says Mickey Mouse. “Also, there is no vaccine for the plague, anyway.”

“Calling me a plague rat when I’ve never carried the plague, and your children frequently puke on Thunder Mountain, is highly offensive,” Mickey added.

Disney World said in a press release that all its talking animals are fully vaccinated. Furthermore, they are dedicated to cleanliness, as evidenced by their help with cleaning and household chores for Disney movie protagonists. However, consumer concerns about unvaccinated visitors remain. In response, Disney has announced that it will offer half-off park tickets anytime a measles outbreak is traced to the park.

“Additionally, we want to remind visitors that we are very health-conscious here at Disney World,” said a spokesperson in a recent press conference. “We encourage you to visit our gift shop, where you can purchase custom Mickey Mouse ears with a built-in N95 mask for only $29.99. And don’t forget to grab a one-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer shaped like Mickey’s head for only $24.99!” For the most concerned customers, a Disney hazmat suit is available in Mickey and Minnie Mouse versions for $99.99.
